For the third year in a row
Earth Voyager is the first to
cross the finish line at Mackinac Island.
Decision
was the first mono-hull boat across the finish at 6:01 PM EDT, July 22
and the 70's followed more than two hours later.

This website is for anyone interested in the historic Port
Huron Mackinac race sailed from Port Huron to Mackinac Island,
Michigan every July. Be sure to check out the

of this year's event and keep checking for updates.
While there is no official connection between the Port Huron to
Mackinac Race and the Chicago to Mackinac race, they are often
considered sister races and both races are viewed as the Great
Lakes' premier sailing events each summer.
The Chicago to Mackinac race sails the length of Lake Michigan with
the Port Huron to Mackinac race sailing a shorter course from Port
Huron to Mackinac Island in Lake Huron. The 2001 Chicago to
Mackinac race was completed last weekend. For information and

Whether a participant, spectator or just curious, there is plenty of
information on this site.
